“Often people assume wearing black is a way of hiding your bump - but I think that wearing something pretty can make you feel more special. The Carousel outfit has lots of different colours you can use to accessorize it with - so you can tie it with pinks, greens, blues or whatever and it looks good. I will be able to wear it to a more informal wedding and to an extremely smart - hat job wedding - and create a different look! It is extremely difficult to find maternity clothes that are not made of synthetic fabrics - I am not into those really clingy fabrics. Thanks to the internet, mothers to be in remote rural areas can find something special without having to trek off to the bigger cities like Bristol or Bath. “I don't know if this is the right route, but I wanted to give some positive feedback. I have been a "Crave shopper" since my first pregnancy - I think the quality and design of the clothes are outstanding, and the service exemplary. I am now 61/2 months pregnant with my second child, and again shopping with Crave. On Sunday, we visited the King's Road store, and I just wanted to say how exceptional the sales assistant was. She clearly knew the stock inside out, and was able to give very helpful and creative advice. She was running the shop on her own, but was still prepared to go up and down the stairs several times to bring up different sizes and items. I had my toddler with me who, although on the right side of well-behaved, was increasingly excitable - the assistant was absolutely charming with her and seemingly oblivious to the toddler antics, which made things a lot easier for me. And finally, after all her efforts, I actually only bought tights! I think a combination of a mini crisis of confidence (I am 5ft and have just hit that lumbering stage), trying to buy for more than one occasion (I was looking for work/Christening/40th birthday party, all rolled into one - lets face it, not very realistic!) and shopping with the toddler ("I don't like that Mummy") pretty much doomed the shopping. But there was no hint whatsoever of irritation on her part - I would have been fuming. She could not have been calmer or more polite and helpful. She has only enhanced my opinion of Crave and I will definitely go back to the shop. She also helped me think about different styles and shapes, which will definitely help me with my next Crave shop.
