Some would say it's pointless buying knitwear when everyday shops provide such great products but it really does increase comfort having a specially designed maternity piece. All our maternity jumpers and cardigans are designed to be as comfortable as possible and to accommodate a growing bump without making you look like a tent. Here at Crave we want to celebrate your new found curves not hide them under layers of acrylic.

To make our knitwear sumptuous and soft we always add a little extra luxury such as mohair or Alpca fibres for a truly soft hand feel against your bare skin. For winter choose a chunky knit cardigan which can double as a coat in the autumn; the design will keep you warm and help secure your bump for a snug comfy fit. For a traditional piece of knitwear opt for a shawl collar and look for extra details that make it feel like a classic such as leather buttons. These styles are great whilst pregnant and you can wear them long after birth as well. For ever day use it’s more practical to get a thinner, lightweight maternity cardigan that will go with most of your outfits, particularly over the top of dresses making them perfect for the office. A thinner cardigan also makes a great transitional piece for early spring and fits perfectly under a light jacket. Go for a classic colour palette if you want to invest in a decent cardigan such as black or navy which will be great for a capsule wardrobe. If you want a fun fashion piece opt for a bright hit of colour.
