Wear Bright Colours In Spring

As spring is already in the air and it is getting warmer and warmer every day, it can be a good reason to go shopping for new clothes which are in vogue this season. If you are an expectant mother and your bump is growing, you feel the need to get fashionable maternity clothing best of all.

According to fashion designers, this season has several hottest bright hues which are pink, orange, blue, yellow, earth tones and white colours. You can start with tops and add to your wardrobe a sleeveless bright blue, jade, turquoise or coral vest with a scoop neck. Loose cuts can give great coverage to your belly emphasising your changing curves. Vests can have chunky back zips or button fronts. They can be paired with skinny jeans, denim capris or straight pants. You can also go for white gypsy tops with gathered necklines and broderie anglais trim around them, or loose tops with soft pleating over the bust or floral embroidered panels around the necklace. Striped tops remain a fashionable item of maternity clothing this season too, and you can have them as either simple black and white tank tops edged in black, or pink and coral tops of longer length which prevents them from climbing up over your bump.

For cool evenings you may purchase a pointelle knit cocoon or button through cardigan, a shrug with batwing sleeves, a striped cardigan with long sleeves and short style hemline or a jumper with over bump draping detailing. Layered over tops and accompanied by tight or straight jeans, they can give you a pulled together look. As far as it comes up to such an item of maternity clothing as skinny jeans, stylists advise to go for white or light colour jeans with floral prints. Jeans can also come in rose, pink, camel or blue colours featuring a washed finish or worn detailing with either slim cut legs or a relaxed fit and traditional five pockets to the front and reverse. Side adjusters and jersey bump panels are added to ensure a great fit throughout your pregnancy. Apart from jeans, you can wear form fitting leggings which sit under the bump or drawstring trousers with wide legs.

You might also wish to have some new dresses among your maternity clothing. They can come as multi coloured V-neck tunics which you can wear with grey leggings and peep toe shoes or sandals, or petite scoop necked floral dresses with key-hole backs. Full length maxi dresses with back ties for a better fit or kimono style dresses with scoop necks may ensure a flattering look. Knee length dresses with ruffle capped or bell sleeves, empire waists and embroidery around the skirt can be a good solution for an evening walk when worn under a jacket.

It is obvious that you might need a new pair of footwear to match your clothes. If you like high heels and can afford to keep on wearing them when pregnant you can go for shoes with chunky heels and cleated soles or open toe wedges. Flat shoes can also go well with new fashionable pieces of maternity clothing and can come as textile pumps, suede moccasins or classic lace-up shoes featuring leopard or floral prints. Indeed, this spring shoes come in each colour and colour combinations to match any piece of clothes you might have.
